To begin, find a comfortable seat for this morning.
Whatever that looks like for you.
When you are ready, softly close your eyes.
With your eyes closed, take a moment to arrive.
First, simply noticing that you are already here.
The weight of gravity. The surface that is holding you.
What else do you notice, before the story of the day?
What is it like not to force a smile?
A positive mindset is not fake cheer. It is a workable lens.
Looking for what can be met, not only what might go wrong.
Noticing one true thing that is already enough.
And letting that be the lens you start with.
Continue now with your breath, as well as this stance.
Inhale, receive. Exhale, drop the prediction of failure.
What do you notice in the chest, looking for evidence of enough?
Just observe. Accept. Look for what is workable. No forced brightness.
Allow the room to be ordinary, and still on your side.
As if the next hour will take the color of this cleaned lens.
There is nothing to sell yourself. There is only this stance.
If the mind runs toward threat, escort it back to one workable fact.
Being connected to breath, body, and this quieter way of looking.
You let the lens stay clean. Including yourself.
Let attention travel back. Shoulders, fingers, toes — still this view.
Take this stance with you as you slowly open your eyes.
