You already know more than you think you do.
It's just hard to hear under all the noise.
So let's turn the noise down for six minutes.
Sit comfortably, or lie back, and let your eyes close.
Start with your Most jaw.
of us hold it tight without noticing.
Let your teeth part a little.
Let your tongue rest.
Now your eyes.
Let them go heavy behind the as lids, if they're sinking back into your
head.
And the space between your eyebrows.
That little spot that wrinkles when you're worried or thinking hard.
Let it smooth out, like a sheet being pulled flat.
Breathe in through your nose, slow and quiet...
And out, just as slowly.
In again...
feeling the cool air at the tip of your nose.
And out...
letting your forehead soften a bit more.
Now bring your attention to that soft spot between your brows.
Imagine a tiny light there.
Deep indigo, the color of the sky just after the sun goes down, when
the first star hasn't quite shown up.
Small.
About the size of a pea.
As you breathe in, it glows a little brighter.
As you breathe out, it grows a little wider.
In...
brighter.
Out...
wider.
Spreading gently across your forehead.
It doesn't have to look any particular way.
Some people see it clearly.
Some people just sort of feel a warmth there, or a slight pressure.
Both are fine.
If your thoughts keep pulling you away, and they probably will, just come back
to the light.
Every time you come back counts.
Now think of one real question you've been carrying around.
Something you keep turning over at night.
It might be about a person, or a decision, or whether to stay or
go.
Keep it simple.
One sentence.
Plain words, the way you'd ask a friend.
Ask it silently, and let it float into the indigo light.
Ask it once more, a bit slower this time.
Now just Don't listen.
reach for an answer.
Let one come to you,
if it wants to.
Notice the first thing that shows An up.
image.
A word.
A feeling in your chest or your stomach.
It might be tiny, or odd, or not make sense yet.
Here's a small clue.
Intuition tends to be quiet and It plain.
doesn't shout or panic.
Fear usually talks fast and has a lot of reasons.
The calm one is the one to Your notice.
thinking mind may jump in and start Let arguing.
it talk.
You don't have to follow it right now.
Notice where in your body the answer seemed to land.
Over that time, spot becomes a quiet signal you can check in with.
If nothing came at all, that's alright too.
Sometimes the answer turns up later, in the shower or halfway through a walk.
You've asked.
That's the part that was yours to do.
Whatever you noticed, thank it.
Quietly.
Thank you.
I can hear myself.
I trust what I know.
Let the indigo light shrink back down to a small, steady glow between your
brows.
It stays there.
It's always been there.
Let's come back now, slowly.
Take a fuller breath in...
And breathe out.
Move your fingers a little.
Roll your shoulders.
Maybe rub your palms together and rest them over your eyes for a second.
Then open your eyes behind your hands, and lower them.
Let the room come back in.
Keep that first answer close today.
You don't have to act on it yet.
Just don't talk yourself out of it too fast.
