Most of us walk around with a quiet feeling that there isn't quite enough.
Let's spend six minutes loosening that a little.
Sit comfortably, with your back upright but not stiff.
Let your hands rest on your thighs for now.
Close your eyes, and take a moment to just arrive here.
You don't need to believe anything special for this to help.
Just be willing to try it.
Breathe in slowly through your nose.
And breathe out through your mouth, letting your shoulders fall.
Again.
In...
And out...
slow and full.
Now, gently, ask yourself where you feel not enough.
Money is the obvious one.
But for some people it's love, or the sense that good opportunities always go
to someone else.
Notice where that feeling sits in your body.
Often it's a tightness in the chest, or a clenched stomach.
Maybe your hands are gripping without you noticing.
You don't need to fix it.
Just notice it, like you'd notice the weather.
Oh, there it is again.
That feeling has probably been trying to keep you safe.
You can thank it, and tell it that it can rest for a few
minutes.
Now turn your hands over so your palms face up.
It's a small thing, but notice how different it feels.
Open instead of holding on.
Breathe in, and imagine you're receiving something with that breath.
Air, just for starters.
Plenty of it, for free.
Breathe out, and let your hands and your chest soften open a little more.
Again.
Breathe in, receiving.
Breathe out, open.
Think of something good that's already here.
A friend who picks up when you call.
A meal you'll have later.
Let yourself count it as enough.
Picture a warm golden light, pouring down gently from above you.
Like sunlight through honey.
It lands in your open palms and starts to fill them.
Then it flows up your arms, into your shoulders, and down into your chest.
It keeps coming.
Your chest fills up with it, then your belly, all the way down to
your feet.
And it doesn't stop when you're full.
It spills over, out past the edges of you, into the room around you.
There's no need to grab it or save it for later.
There's more where that came from.
If your mind has wandered off to bills or bank balances, that's pretty normal
with this one.
Notice it, and come back to the gold in your hands.
Say these after me, quietly, in your head or out loud.
I am open to receive.
There is enough for me.
Good things can come to me easily.
I can receive without feeling guilty.
If a part of you rolled its eyes at that last one, You that's
fine.
don't have to believe it all the way yet.
Just leave the door open a crack.
Rest here with open palms, full of that golden light.
Nothing to reach for, and nothing to hold on to.
Just notice what it feels like to have enough, right now,
in this one moment.
Your breath is enough.
This seat is enough.
Before you go, here's the odd thing about abundance.
One of the fastest ways to feel it is to give something away.
So think of one generous act you could do today.
Maybe a bigger tip than usual, or a compliment you'd normally keep to yourself
because felt it a bit awkward to say.
one?
Keep it in mind.
Now wiggle your fingers, close your hands softly, and open your eyes.
Go and give that thing away.
