5 Minute Yoga Nidra Meditation
A five-minute yoga nidra taste: knowing the hands, the feet, the torso, the face, then the whole body as a single heavy map. Not a full traditional nidra. An honest short rotation.
Before you begin
Lie down. Expect a sketch, not a 30-minute nidra.

To begin this brief yoga nidra style reset, lie down, fully supported.
This is a short rotation of awareness, in that spirit — not a full nidra.
When your body feels ready, you may softly close your eyes.
With your eyes closed, take a moment to rest as you are, without arranging the body.
First, right hand. Left hand. Only knowing, not moving.
Right foot. Left foot. Travel, and leave each place at rest.
What else — belly, chest, throat, mouth, closed eyes — known, then left?
What is it like to visit the body without trying to improve it?
The whole body at once. A single field. Heavy and aware.
You can be awake inside rest, without doing rest.
Stay in the field. The field is enough for these minutes.
Awareness without effort is a sleep of the trying-mind.
What do you notice when there is nowhere left to scan?
Just observe. Accept. And allow. This is a taste, not a ceremony.
Keeping your eyes closed, allow your awareness to include the dark of the room.
The bed holding the field. The night around the bed. And you, still.
There is nothing to complete. There is no full practice to finish.
If your mind wanders, that is okay. Return to one place — a hand, a foot — then the whole.
Being connected to the rotation, the field, and this honest short rest.
You let the body be known. Including yourself.
If you remain awake, stay heavy. If you drift, drift. Both are correct.
Keep the eyes closed. Stay lying down. Let the field keep you.
