5 Minute Sleep Meditation (Female Voice)
A 5 minute sleep meditation with a soft female voice, spoken slowly, then getting out of your way. Let the voice be a lantern you do not have to look at. Follow only the warmth of it. You are allowed to stop listening and still be doing the practice.

To begin this sleep meditation, lie down. I will speak slowly, and then get out of your way.
Whatever that looks like for you tonight.
When your body feels ready, you may softly close your eyes.
With your eyes closed, take a moment to let the voice be a lantern you do not have to look at.
First, simply follow the warmth of it — not the meaning, not the work of listening.
The body knows night. Trust the animal of you more than the planner of you.
What else do you notice when you stop trying to be a good listener?
What is it like to be allowed to stop listening and still be doing the practice?
I am here for a few minutes, and then the quiet can be the only guide.
Sink. Soften. Stay.
Sleep is near, or rest is near, and both are welcome.
You do not have to wait for a last instruction.
What do you notice when the voice steps back?
Just observe. Accept. And allow. The bed can finish what I started.
Keeping your eyes closed, allow your awareness to include the night of the room.
As if the lantern is already behind you. Quiet. Ordinary. Already here.
There is nothing to do. There is no one to please.
If your mind wanders, that is okay. You do not have to come back for my sake.
Being connected to the mattress, the breath, and this female voice growing quieter.
You let the quiet take over. Including yourself.
I will stop soon. You do not have to wait. Go on ahead into the dark.
Keep the eyes closed. Let the night keep you. Rest well.
